Service of wheels and tyres
At daily maintenance service of the
tyre clear of a dirt and check their condition. At ÒÎ-1 and ÒÎ-2
check pressure of air in tyres and if it is necessary, pump up in
them air, and also delete the extraneous subjects which have got
stuck in a protector and between dual tyres. At ÒÎ-2 rearrange wheels
according to the scheme; the damaged tyres hand over in repair.
Stored tyres should not adjoin to greasing or oil. The place in
which the tyre adjoins to oil, inflates, though then again gets
a normal form and looks intact. The safe load on the tyre should
be lowered. Wheels at storage should lie or be suspended for a rim.
Before removal of wheels it is necessary to lift slightly pressure
in tyres.
Pressure in tyres is necessary to check once a month, and also before
each long trip. Pressure check make on cold tyres. For check of
the gate from it remove a cap, the gate moisten: if the vial is
formed, the gate slightly tighten and again moisten; if the vial
again is formed, and the gate already will tighten to the full,
it is necessary to replace it. Upon termination of check of the
gate the cap should be turned.
To the established norm of the tyre pump up in two steps. At first
it is necessary to finish pressure in the tyre to 50 % of norm,
to knock with a protector about the earth, to lower air and only
after that to pump up the tyre to norm. Thus it is possible to avoid
folds and a chamber jamming in a tyre cover. Pressure of tyres depends
on type of the engine, a wheel disk and tyres. As a rule, winter
tyres should have pressure a little above the ordinary. Pressure
after long operation of the car should not go down more than on
0,2 kgs/sm2.
